Believing that it might be impolite to ask for your money without some type of introduction, we thought we'd take a moment to tell you about ourselves.

While we are currently dedicated to the single purpose of  securing a star for Brian Keith on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, we became acquainted with each other through an online group devoted to one of his nine television series, Hardcastle and McCormick. (see the Links page for more info.)  When one of our group pointed out that he did not already have a star, we were surprised, amazed, puzzled, and . . . yes, willing to do something to fix it.  We decided to right one of the small injustices of the world, and Mrs. Keith has graciously given us permission to pursue our goal.

Thus was born our Society, and, in turn, this site.  This site will serve as a focal point for the STAR for Brian campaign; raising funds for The Cause, and keeping fans updated on our progress.  Once we have secured the fee for the star, we will cease accepting donations, but will, of course, continue with updates on progress, up to and including the dedication ceremony.  (We are a confidently determined bunch of folks.)

(We're searching for lots of different ways to let folks contribute, so be sure to check back now and again and see what's new.)  And, we'd enourage all our visitors to sign the guest book, and maybe make a note of Mr. Keith's roles that have touched you the most.  We're all fans here, and we like hearing from other fans.
